The test station is standard provided with an interlock system to prevent accidental release of clamping force when safety valve is under pressure. The clamping force can however be increased at any time.
The test station is set to the valve size by operating the central hand lever that is sliding the three claws simultaneously from or to the centre of the construction. Each claw comes with a free sliding adapter that provides enough flexibility to clamp the whole range.
The clamping force is generated by one hydraulic cylinder,
ensuring that each claw is applying the same force onto the valve flange and
preventing un-balanced as with claws individual driven claws. The clamp force
is set from the control panel but valves can be pre-clamped using the foot
pedal that is located near the test station.
